Prince Arthur

Prince Arthur

Prince Arthur is pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Utah, where he applies his analytical and quantitative skills to research and develop policy solutions for various social issues. His academic focus allows him to tackle complex societal challenges with data-driven insights, and he finds great fulfillment in collaborating with like-minded individuals to help solve and curb societal problems.

At the University of Utah, Prince serves as the Vice President of the PAGE Student Association of the Division of Public Affairs. He is deeply committed to building a vibrant and supportive community for students by fostering connections, providing valuable resources, and promoting community engagement. He played a key role in organizing the PAGE Career and Networking Event, a significant milestone that helped bridge the gap between students and professionals in the field of public affairs.


Henrique Benevides

Henrique Moreno Benevides

At the University of Utah, Henrique is an active member of the club swim team and has also served as a peer health educator at the Center for Student Wellness. In this role, he was a strong advocate for minority students, particularly those in the LGBTQ+ community. Henrique also played a pivotal role in organizing events focused on suicide and drug prevention, further showcasing their commitment to promoting wellness and supporting vulnerable populations on campus.


Jack Burton

Jack Burton

Jack is a graduate student in his final year of the professional acrchitecture program at the University of Utah. Jack came from a small town on the south coast of the United Kingdom and moved to Salt Lake City as a teenager. Since his solo immigration to Utah, Jack developed sincere gratitude for the communities that have made him feel welcome in a city new to him. Jack is now seeking to extend his generous hospitality as much as he can to foster an intimate and valuable communites at the University of Utah and the larger Salt Lake region. Jack is excited to see how he can continue to serve the causes that mean the most to him. Although you can find him in the architecture studio on campus, Jack enjoys reading at his favorite local coffee shop, running the beautiful trails Utah has to offer and looking after two charming cats he adopted. 


Jiwon Jang

Jiwon Jang

Jiwon Jang is a graduate student from Korea pursuing a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. She is passionate about creating effective learning experiences and leveraging technology to enhance education. She joined U Career Success as an instructional designer intern, gaining valuable hands-on experience in her field of study

This journey marks her first time studying abroad, opening up a world of new experiences and perspectives. To foster a sense of belonging and connect with her local community, she served as a student representative at the Sunnyside Apartment complex. This role has helped her integrate into campus life and build relationships with fellow students

Her time at the University of Utah has taught her the value of stepping out of her comfort zone, embracing new challenges, and building bridges between cultures. She encourages other international students to actively engage with their campus as these connections can lead to amazing friendships and personal growth. Through her academic pursuits, she is developing a well-rounded skill set that combines educational theory with practical application, all while fostering cross-cultural understanding.


Alan Zhang

 

Bangyan (Alan) Zhang

Bangyan (Alan) is a medical student at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Born in Qingdao, China, Alan first moved to Utah during high school. As a first-generation college student and the only international student in his class, he is deeply committed to advancing cultural diversity and inclusion in medicine. Since the start of medical school, Alan has been actively involved Alan serves as a council leader on the Health Systems Council at the School of Medicine. In this role, he has worked closely with faculty and staff to integrate best practices in health systems management into the curriculum. He also played a pivotal role in leading quality improvement projects, focusing on optimizing healthcare delivery systems and enhancing patient outcomes within student-led clinics. Outside of school, you can find him cooking, exploring the outdoors, and snowboarding.
