2012 Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations to three international students who were selected for the inaugural International Center Scholarship. This is a scholarship exclusively for international students at the University of Utah who demonstrate high academic achievement and strong campus and/or community engagement. Each recipient was awarded $4,000 for this academic year.

Kersten MerryKersten is exploring a double major in Communications, with an emphasis in Strategic Communication and Sports Management within the Parks, Recreation and Tourism program at the University of Utah. After driving 17 hours straight to visit the University of Utah campus, she said that as soon as she stepped onto the U campus, she loved it and knew this is where she wanted to study. More... |

Hye Ri LeeHye Ri is studying Psychology at the University of Utah. After researching different universities in the United States with her mother, she decided to study at the University of Utah because of the possibility of research and how beautiful the campus was. Hye Ri appreciates all her professors, especially one of her teaching assistants who advised her to “not let your language block your future”. Hye Ri has taken this advice to heart and is taking advantage of every opportunity she can at the University of Utah. More... |
